A collection to celebrate Ioly Zorattini’s more than forty years of researches on the history of the Jews, the only non-Christian minority that has constantly lived in Italy in the last two thousand years. Celebrated scholars and young researchers trace the history of the principal Jewish communities – Ashkenazi, Sephardi, and Italian – ranging from the relationship with the local societies after the Diaspora, to the inner dynamics of Judaism.
