Bartolo Calderone

This study intends to gather and match the numerous fragments of the petrarchan question in the Twentieth century. The poet of Laura remains, through devotion and restraint, nostalgia and seduction, a privileged reference point for the main protagonists of the Italian lyrical poetry - often with the mediation of Leopardi's Canti. The first part of the book, focused on critical themes, is completed by the lexical surveys of the second.
